Get ready for the transformed Aeroplan
October 27, 2020
With the launch of the transformed Aeroplan® on Nov. 8, they will be introducing many new and exciting program features. In order to prepare for this, some existing program features and services will be briefly unavailable during the changeover period.
Here’s what you need to know.
- Points will credit to your account with a delay.
If you earn points with an Aeroplan partner between Oct. 30 and Nov. 9, there will be a delay in points crediting to your Aeroplan account. After that date, normal points crediting will resume. Rest assured, all points earned during this time period will be credited automatically beginning Nov. 10.
- Flight rewards will be temporarily unavailable.
Flight rewards will be temporarily unavailable for new reservations, changes and cancellations from the evening of Nov. 6, through the afternoon of Nov. 8. If you’re travelling during that time and need immediate support for a previously booked flight reward reservation, the Aeroplan Contact Centre will be available to assist you.
Please note that you may continue to purchase Air Canada® tickets in cash on aircanada.com or through Air Canada Reservations, without interruption.
- All other rewards will also be temporarily unavailable.
You will be unable to redeem points for merchandise (including gift cards) and other travel rewards starting from the evening of Nov. 6, through the afternoon of Nov. 8.
Here's how to get ready.
Stay connected.
Download the latest Air Canada app available on Google Play and the App Store so you can stay connected with all of the new Aeroplan features and benefits on the go. Both aeroplan.com and the Aeroplan mobile app will be decommissioned as the new program launches.
