More Maple Leaf Lounges reopen!

October 01, 2021

Air Canada recently reopened the doors to four Maple Leaf Lounges in Edmonton, Ottawa, Montréal Transborder, and Los Angeles — marking the second Maple Leaf Lounge to reopen outside Canada. This week, they have opened the doors once again to three additional Maple Leaf Lounges — Winnipeg, Vancouver Transborder, and the Toronto Transborder Express Maple Leaf Lounge.

Eligible customers are invited to enjoy the lounge before their journey.  Like those lounges that have already reopened, strict biosafety measures are being followed including mandatory face masks for customers and employees, enhanced cleaning, reduced capacity and increased directional and safety-related signage.  As well, reading materials are available through PressReader. Pre-packaged food and refreshments are available at all four, while the Montréal Transborder and Vancouver Transborder lounges are also offering the @ la table service that provides customers a menu of options they can easily order from their seat, by scanning a QR Code with a smartphone.

Some of Air Canada’s Maple Leaf Lounges now require proof of vaccination to allow entry. Check out the requirements of the lounges to avoid the unexpected. Each lounge’s requirements differ, so remember to select the specific location from the drop-down menu on the right after you open the page.
